The recipe.
Preheat your oven to 425°.
1. Wash your blueberries gently.
2. Lay them out on a paper towel to dry.
3. Toss any obviously defective berries.
4. Get the rest of the ingredients together.
5. Put all your blueberries in a separate vessel for easy addition later.
6. Get your lard.
7. Lard up those pans nice and greasy. I got lazy and decided to make cakes instead of muffins.
8. Scramble the wet ingredients together.
9. Scramble the dry ingredients together.
10. Pour it in...
11. ... and mix.
12. BY HAND, mix in the blueberries CAREFULLY!
13. Don't break any or you get a nasty blue muffin instead of blueberry muffins.
14. Pour into your prepared pans.
15. Purdy!
16. Put pans in oven.
17. Set your favorite timer to 18 minutes.
18. Do your dishes and clean up the inevitable mess you made.
19. All clean!
20. Well, that sure killed a lot of time.
21. Random dog and cat shot.
22. Movie-esque fast-forward, gogo!
23. Get your cooling rack, pot mitt, and a knife ready.
24. When the timer goes off, check your muffins for doneness.
25. Mmm, blueberry cake.
